Clean Air Filters for Laser Printers and Fax Machines
Unitox Environmental Filters are effective, advanced and “intelligent” filters, which has been specially developed to clean the exhaust air from printers and fax machines. The extra large filter element removes 100% ozone, toner dust, paper dust, chemical residuals and unpleasant odours.

Problems with Laser Printers
Laser printers give hot and dry air off during function; typically exhaust contains paper dust, toner dust, chemicals and also often large concentrations of ozone.
This may lead to symptoms as itching skin, rash, irritation of the mucous membranes as well as nausea and headache. Ozone is harmful even in small concentrations. In office environments the concentration of ozone should be kept below 0.01 ppm (1 ppm corresponds to 0.1 cm³ per m³ air).
Many new laser printers are being marketed as “ozone” free, but this designation doesn’t include other chemicals, which contribute to a multitude of health problems, especially for allergic persons.
An Active Absorbent Filter Unit with Built-in Ventilation System
Unitox Environmental Filter is an active absorbent filter unit with a built-in ventilation system, which eliminates harmful ozone emissions and at the same time cleans the air effectively for dust and gasses.
An extra large ozone filter element contains a more highly active, specially developed filter granulate than normal. It cleans the air and breaks down the ozone completely into pure oxygen. The double dust filter collects dust from paper and toner residues and at the same time protects the highly active filter element.
This special design ensures an extra long lifetime for the filter without reducing the effect. After use the filter elements can be handled as ordinary office waste.
Design for the future
Thoughtful and effective design makes the Unitox Environmental Filter a design for the future. The unit fits most printer models, which means, that a change into a new model only requires a new mouthpiece. The mouthpiece can be installed in seconds without the use of complicated tools.
The Unitox Environmental Filter is the most compact and flat filter on the market. It doesn’t take up more space than the printer itself. It is incredible easy to install; place the printer on the top of the console, press the suction manifold into position and turn on the printer. The installation can be done by anyone.
Changing the filter elements requires no tools. Simply remove the filter from the front of the unit. The front door is opened, the filter element is pulled out and a new filter is pushed in.
